Background:

Buchner's was first established in 1953 as a greenhouse operation by Mr. Marinus Buchner Sr., growing cut flowers, seasonal potted plants, and bedding plants. Home sales of these products eventually led to the establishment of a flower shop by the late 1960's. Today Buchner's Flowers operates as a professional full service flower shop still located in Sarnia, Ontario.

Quality Assurance:

Buchner's Flowers has passed a Quality Assurance test by F.T.D. The unannounced inspection in July of 1999 included checks for cleanliness, neatness of displays and work areas, freshness and variety of products, ability to fill floral orders as well as business practices. F.T.D. randomly inspect all its members to ensure their members adhere to their quality of standards.  F.T.D. has 22,000 members in Canada and the U.S. and has some of the highest standards in the floral industry.
